Finnish coffee giant Paulig joined forces with Shapeways to allow Finnish customers to 3D print their own customized coffee containers.

The two companies launched a new website on Tuesday, where eager coffee drinkers can learn about the wonders of 3D printing and its ability to make coffee drinking a highly personalized experience.

The initiative was planned and executed by two marketing agencies SEK and Great Apes.

“It is unlikely that that we’ll be able to 3D print high quality coffee, but now anyone can design their own 3D printed coffee container,” said Paulig’s marketing director Karri Kauppila.

Paulig’s new website allows customers to vote for the most impressive coffee box designs. The company will reward the best 25 designs with free 3D printing.
